View of Charles River, Cambridge from our 14
th floor hotel room. One of the few times we didn't see a crew boat on the river.

Nephew Ben Clement (3rd yr. law student in Boston) was our guide for Sunday & Monday in Cambridge & Boston. First stop was Cambridge student ward. Pretty fun and intellectually challenging Sunday School class and very uplifting Sacrament Meeting talks. Here were are on the front steps of a fabulous sunny day and crisp autumn day.

Just across the street (literally) from the church is one of Longfellow's houses. Although it was open, Ben said we had other places to see, so we just got a photo with the park (house) ranger. What a tough National Park ranger assignment this guy has. We went back on Tuesday to go
thru the house and it was closed. Guess we'll have to return another day for the tour.

A chapel in a
cemetery Ben took us to after we left the church. We were on the top of a tower in the middle of the
cemetery with wonderful 360 degree views of Cambridge & Boston.

Beautiful fall leaves in the cemetery. My photo abilities do not do justice to the beautiful & colorful trees we saw everywhere. We timed our fall visit perfectly.

Ben, Lee and the Sphinx tombstone. I think I want a headstone like this in 30 or 40 yrs.

The tradition is that any person who touches John Harvard's toe has good luck. Hope so.
